College Care Package
As our youth members go out in the world, CPC is actively reaching out to our college age members by sending care packages with a reminder that they are thought of regularly and kept in prayer even while away at school.
If you would like to help fill these boxes with homemade non-melting goodies, pizza coupons, phone cards, stamps, etc, please put items in zip-lock baggies and bring them to church and place under Sue Stahl’s mailbox. You may email Sue with your address or the address of a college student.
Maranatha Food Pantry
The Maranatha Food Pantry provides food to those in need in the greater Chambersburg area. With the current economic climate in our country, the need for a food ministry is greater than ever. A barrel is outside the office workroom. Monetary contributions can be given by marking it “Food Pantry”. Simply place your contribution in the offering plate and those funds will be directed as you indicated.
Military Care Packages
CPC’s military members are supported by donations of necessary items on the white board in the LWW lobby. Letters and cards of support for our troops are also appreciated. It is important to let our military friends know that they are remembered and kept in our thoughts and prayers. Donation information can be emailed to you upon request by contacting Sue Stahl. Please put donated items in the box under Sue Stahl’s CPC mailbox or give financial support to Sue Stahl. Checks can be written out to Central Presbyterian Church, memo to “Military Care Packages”.
